Rejected Blog Names
While trying to figure out our blog name, we went through a TON of names. Here is a list of some of the ones we did not end up choosing. If you like any, feel free to use them for your own blogs (just let us know and we can mark the name as used). All of the names below had available .com website addresses as of this writing, which we thought was an important feature in picking a name.

- NomadOrWhere: If you don't get it, say it out loud and fast.
- Hostile Takeover: Perfect for someone in the corporate world. If you are not in the corporate world, other names that play on "Hostels" are "Hostel Accommodations" or "Hostel Journey".
- RealWorldDetour: Also "Detour Abroad" or "Temporary Detour" available.
- Spread/Extend/Stretch/Finding/Exploring/Expanding/Cutting/Discovering Our Routes: Pick a verb, any verb. This obviously plays on "roots" and all are also available with the word "roots" instead
- UpRouting: Similar to above
- TheGrassRoutes: Perfect for those organizing some sort of cause while also exploring places with lots of grass =) Other options are Grass Routes Abroad and Exploring Grass Routes
- Game of Timezones: For those who are also big Game of Thrones fans. Another option is "Game of Unknowns"
- EatSleepPlaneRepeat: Probably a lot of what our trip will be. Based on a Fatboy Slim reference
- ItCouldBeTheEndofUs: A little morbid, but could be true
- Emmigration Abroad: Probably not a permanent emmigration, but at least a temporary one.
- Stop Strap and Roll: A play on Stop Drop and Roll. Great for those unique couples that have one using a backpack and one using a rolling bag, like us.
- Ship Hasnt Sailed: To any of those who thought it has...
- One Way ETicket(s): For those traveling using single one-way flights and not on a round-the-world ticket.
- Bueno Voyage: good for those traveling to spanish speaking countries.
- No Itineraries: Simple and easy to remember. Not good for those who are big planners and have itineraries.
- Flights and Sights: It rhymes.
- Breaking Budget: I miss Breaking Bad
- NoMapNoTicketsNoWorries: Another one for those who don't plan that far ahead.
- Foreign Stamp Collection or Collecting Foreign Stamps: As in passport stamps. "Acquiring Stamps" and "Collecting Stamps Abroad" also available.
- Extended Out Of Office: Very extended.
- Lions and Bedbugs and Cold Showers, oh my! : Afraid this is probably going to be a reality. To keep your web address shorter, you could use lionsandbedbugs.com
- AirBNFree: Planning on using AirBNB a lot? This might be a good name then.
- EnCompass The Planet: Compass! get it? Also available "EnCompass Our World"
- youonlytraveltheworldonce: For us old folks who still think #yolo is hip. Hopefully you get to travel the world more than once.
- Leaping Life
- [Insert City]totheworld: Chicago to the World was available, I presume other cities are too. Another option is "[Insert City]worldtravelers
- Follow Our Trek: Simple, easy to remember web address. "Follow Our Voyage" also available.
- Wandering Americans: Pretty generic, but probably accurate.
- GlobalTripBlog: Speaking of generic. Name says it all

- United Explorers: The United Airlines' credit card department may come after you for this one
- World Guests
- Globe Visitors
- Happy Hiatus
- Follow You Anywhere: If it's too cheesy for you, "Follow You There" also available.
- World Secondment: Good for those who know what a secondment is.
- AStoryAbroad
- Lost In Exploration: A ply on Lost in Translation
